Natural extracellular matrix products are tissue-derived matrices that preserve the complex mixture of structural proteins, proteoglycans, and growth factors found in vivo. This native complexity is why natural ECM substrates remain the gold standard for 3D cell culture, organoid formation, tumor spheroid work, angiogenesis assays, and differentiation of stem and primary cells that require multiple cue types to self-organize.
