To apply, we’d like you to tell us about your research.

We’d like to know:

• A few details about you (Name, institution)
• A summary of 3,000 characters or less about your current stem cell-related research. If you are presenting a poster at AACR 2024 or ISSCR 2024 you can submit your abstract instead.
• One thing you’re looking forward to at either Meeting.

The entries will be evaluated by an expert panel at AMBSIO, which will judge the entries based on:

• The potential impact of your research.
• The potential impact that attending AACR or ISSCR could have on you!

AACR 2024 Travel Grant

• The closing date for entries is 28th February 2024.
• We will tell the winner by email by 8th March 2024.
• You’ll need to either be attending (or available to attend) AACR between 7th-10th April 2024.

ISSCR 2024 Travel Grant

• The closing date for entries is 17th May 2024.
• We will tell the winner by email by 7th June 2024.
• You’ll need to either be attending (or available to attend) ISSCR between 10th-13th July 2024.

• Only one entry per person per event.
• Only applicants from Universities, Research Institutions, or companies engaged in cancer research are eligible to take part in this competition.
• Applicants should be under 30 years of age at date of submission.
• The deadline for submitting the entry for the AACR travel grant is 28th February 11.59 pm GMT, and the dealine for submitting the entry for the ISSCR travel grant is 17th May 11.59 pm GMT. Any applications submitted after this date and time will not be considered.
• The AMSBIO expert panel will decide the winners. The decision is at their discretion and its decision is final.
• The award is intended to cover the cost of registration, accommodation, and transport to either the AACR 2024 annual meeting or the ISSCR Annual Meeting 2024, to a total value of $1,000 per winner. Any remaining balance available after these costs can be used for other related expenses.
• The winning applicants will receive the grant via reimbursement from AMSBIO after providing receipts for their AACR or ISSCR registration, accommodation, travel, and other expenses.
• The grant applies only to the AACR 2024 Annual Meeting in San Diego or the ISSCR Annual Meeting 2024 in Hamburg, Germany, respectively. The reimbursement cannot be used for any other meeting.
• The reimbursement can only be paid to the individual or institution initially paying for the travel expenses, registration, and accommodation.
• By participating in the competition, you agree to participate in any marketing and PR activities that AMSBIO deems necessary. These may include the following: An interview featuring on the AMSBIO blog/website, and associated press releases.
